Minus $18 Saturday night; my single came through but the $100 winner of the ninth was not in the cards. Meet record, 37 Pick-4s, one winner at $107.50, minus $602.

Analysis:

Race 8: (8) Whispering Oaks returns for a top barn and showed promise last year. (9) Special Honor is second off a layoff and faced older horses and males in last.

Race 9: (9) Henderson Seelster takes a key drop and may be tough despite the post. (8) Crazshana comes off an improved effort.

Race 10: This race is the most wide open of the sequence so I’m using all four of my listed contenders 2, 4, 6, 10.

Race 11: (8) Filly Forty Seven is my top pick as she ships in with good form and drop. (2) JK Mardi Says came back with a win for a top trotting barn. (7) Traffic Jam finished gamely to miss by a neck off a pretty modest pace in last.
