Pedigree Snob in 1:53.3 Scioto qualifier

Columbus, OH — Pedigree Snob, winner of last year’s Sweetheart and one of the top freshman pacing fillies of the season, won a qualifier on Saturday (May 23) in 1:53.3 at Scioto Downs.

Pedigree Snob won her qualifier in 1:53.3 for Chip Noble.

Trained and driven by Sam “Chip” Noble, the daughter of Allamerican Native went to the front at the start and paced through fractions of :27.1, :56.3, and 1:25.2. Her winning margin was 27-1/2 lengths over Bosphorous Hanover (The Panderosa).

Last year Pedigree Snob won five of her nine starts and finished second three times. She took her 1:51.4 mark in winning the Sweetheart and finished the season with $384,571 in the bank. She is owned by breeder Steve Jones and David Scharf.
