Columbus, OH — Exclusive video highlights from the USTA of the 2016 Horse of the Year, Trotter of the Year and Pacer of the Year announced today by the U.S. Harness Writers Association are now available to watch or download on Dropbox.

For the first time, the U.S. Trotting Association is providing assorted video highlights that can be downloaded for the annual award winners as well as each of the Dan Patch Award divisional winners in conjunction with the announcement of those winners by USHWA.
The video features exclusive footage captured by the USTA of major races won, winner’s circle presentations and b-roll of each winner. Video courtesy for use of the footage should be — U.S. Trotting Association. Some race replays are also included.

Top-earning female trotter Hannelore Hanover and Triple Crown winner Marion Marauder were among six trotters named Dan Patch Award winners Thursday by the U.S. Harness Writers Association. Ariana G, Broadway Donna, Obrigado, and Walner also were named divisional champs by the organization.

History’s fastest pacer, Always B Miki, and once-beaten Betting Line were among six pacers named Dan Patch Award winners Friday by the U.S. Harness Writers Association. Huntsville, Idyllic Beach, Lady Shadow, and Pure Country also were named divisional champs by the organization.

Five-year-old stallion Always B Miki on Monday was named harness racing’s Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year by the U.S. Harness Writers Association while 3-year-old colt Marion Marauder was named Trotter of the Year in the closest vote in the 46-year history of the award.
