$135,000 in stakes races at Pompano Park on Wednesday

Pompano Beach, FL — There will be more than $135,000 in stakes events on Wednesday (July 30) at Pompano Park, headed by two $40,000 divisions of the Florida Stallion Stakes for 2-year-old trotters.

Undefeated Whosgoinwhostayin puts his four-race winning streak on the line in the second race $40,000 Stallion Stakes for freshman colt and gelding trotters while Pearl Of Capri takes on Over Drawn, Senena and Parsley Sprig in the third race $40,000 division for 2-year-old trotting fillies.

The winner of each Florida Stallion Stakes division will be eligible for a $100,000 bonus if they can win all four of the Florida Sire Stakes finals.

Southern Rain, who has won 11 of his 13 lifetime starts, is featured in the $26,900 Hurricane Stakes for 3-year-old trotting colts and there are two $14,250 divisions of the Hurricane Stakes for 3-year-old trotting fillies, highlighted by Baileysirishdream trying for her third straight win. She has won 11 of her 15 lifetime starts.
