Pompano Beach, Florida – February 22, 2005 – The post position draw for Pompano Park’s biggest night of racing this Saturday takes place Wednesday for the nine starters in the $160,000 7th annual Isle of Capri Pacing Series Final.

Also on the program Saturday will be the $80,000 final of the 7th annual Mack Lobell Trot, the $50,000 3rd annual Red Bow Tie Pace for Florida-breds and a new addition, the $10,000 inaugural Pompano Park Sprint Classic for pacers, which will be contested at 11/16ths of a mile.

Harness driver David Ingraham is just two wins away from scoring his 5,000th career victory. He has seven drives on Wednesday.

Hunt M Down, who failed to make it to the final of Saturday’s Mack Lobell Trotting Series, heads the 7th race $9,000 Open Handicap Trot Friday. Hunt M Down, a $152,000 winner in 2004, starts from the far outside in post eight for driver Wally Hennessey. They will take on unbeaten Highway Hanover (post 5) and driver Richard Simard as they go for their fifth straight win.
