Harrington, DE — After one nominating payment, 58 pacers are eligible to the inaugural Bobby Quillen Memorial for older pacers, which gets underway with eliminations on October 15 at Harrington Raceway. The final will go for in excess of $300,000 on October 22.

Among those nominated are top free-for-all pacers Lis Mara, Boulder Creek, Mister Big, Maltese Artist and Silent Swing. For a complete list of nominations, please click here.

The race is named to honor the memory of the late Bobby Quillen, who was a longtime Delaware legislator that fought for horsemen’s rights. He was a popular member of the community and was also a member of the Harrington Raceway Board of Directors.

The draw for the eliminations will be held on Wednesday, October 10 (box closes at 1:00 p.m.). There is a $2,500 starting fee.
