I had a $6 ticket Saturday and once again missed one race.

Meet results: Standard tickets, 0 for 8, -$136

Standard Ticket: 50-cent play: none
Whale Ticket: 50-cent play: 58/5789/2578/123 = $48

Analysis:

Race 7: This Pick-4 looks tough but since it could generate a good payoff, I’m going with a whale ticket. (5) Exhilarated is a Yonkers shipper taking a drop and also gets a better post. (8) Imagine Dragon was in tough last start.

Race 8: This is a tough race so I’ve used all four of my listed contenders, 5, 7, 8, 9.

Race 9: Another wide open race, I’m using all four of my listed contenders, 2, 5, 7, 8.

Race 10: This is a wide open race and I’m using three of my listed contenders, 1, 2, 3.
