Analysis

Race 7: (2) Snow Cone A was a sick scratch lasttime following a strong uncovered placing when dropped to this level. Two backpaced a :55 final half against tougher and only missed by a length and a half.Finds a good spot to stalk the speed and looks best. (5) Ideal Nuggets facedPreferred company at Freehold last time after chasing sub 1:52 miles at TheMeadowlands prior. Likely to go well here.

Race 8: (6) Card Shock had a tough third-over spot last time as oneof my picks, finished in :27.4 rallying to miss by 2-1/2 lengths. Looks worthanother shot at a nice price. (3) Smooth Criminal remains one of the sharpestpacers on the grounds and, as usual, is the one to beat. (1) Rock Absorber hadpace finishing following ground saving trip off slow early pace. Gets the railand is capable of better in second try for high percentage barn.

Race 9: (5) We Think Alike made two moves, pusheda :27.3 third quarter against 3-5 shot and didn’t fade badly considering. Meetsslightly lesser and should be able to work out an easier trip. (7) Union ManHanover just failed to hold off the next to unbeatable Roethblissburger doingwell to gamely hold place. Draws outside but remains in sharp form and hasspeed to clear early. (6) Coach Cal has finished fast in all recent starts, thelatest after being fanned three wide at three quarters. The seven-year-old isat the mercy of the pace and cover but has swept fields in the past and besteffort puts him in the thick of this.

Race 10: (4) Western Bayama had tough trip tryingto close off slow early fractions, did well to finish third behind two sharppacers. Chased two sub 1:53 miles prior to that last effort and wasn’t farbehind at the wire. (2) Dalhousie Dave showed his back class upon shipping into Yonkers easily wiring lesser in fast time. Takes a steep hike up but hasbeaten this type sometime in his career and barn seems to be winning witheverything in recent weeks.

Race 11: (2) B L Class Act and (4) Aggressivecontinue to race in sharp form and will likely be battling it out down thelane.

Good Luck!
