Ohio Breeders Championships held at Delaware

Delaware, OH — Four divisions of the $141,300 Ohio Breeders Championships for 2-year-old colt pacers were held on Thursday (Sept. 22) as part of the Little Brown Jug program at the Delaware County Fairgrounds.

Mcthriller (David Miller) established a new track record for freshman geldings during his 1:53.4 mile. Scotch Mcewan (Josh Sutton, 1:54.1), Big Bad Bruce (Chris Page, 1:54.2) and Dancin Rebel (Peter Wrenn, 1:53.2) took the other divisions.

A pair of $50,170 splits were also held for the sophomore pacing colts. Winwood Mac (Yannick Gingras) scored in 1:52.1 and Mr Wiggle Pants (Kayne Kauffman) won in 1:52.2.

Two divisions of the $94,000 3-year-old filly pace went to Miss Me Yet (Montrell Teague, 1:52.3) and Queen Ann M (Chris Page, 1:54).
