Freehold, NJ — The third race on Friday (Sept. 16) at Freehold was the $42,000 Charles Smith final for 3-year-old colt trotters.

Dominion Beach collects his fourth win of the season at Freehold on Friday.

Dominion Beach, driven by Marcus Johansson, took the lead from Inukchuck Chuck before the quarter-mile marker. Dan Dube and Steed put the pressure on just past the half-mile pole, but Dominion Beach was able to hold that rival off for the win in 1:57.3.

Southwind Flash, driven by Joe Bongiorno, finished second while Steed was able to hold on to third place.

This makes win number four for on the season for the son of Muscle Hill, who is trained by Nancy Johansson. T
