Harrington, DE — For the second straight night at Harrington Raceway, one driver won 40 percent of the races. After Victor Kirby’s grand slam on Tuesday, it was Jim Morand’s night on Wednesday (Sept. 7) as the winner of nearly 9,500 races lifetime piloted four winners on the 10-race program.

Morand’s winners included, Southwind Ike ($7.40), Quit Smoking Now ($9.60), Royal Status ($11.20) and Ragazzo Dolce ($4.20).

Take My Picture was a 1:55.4 winner in the Open Trot.

In one of the few races Morand didn’t win, Joseph and Laurie Davino’s Take My Picture ($9, Ross Wolfenden) notched his 33rd career win in the $17,500 Open Trot in 1:55.4.

Spunky Jack left from post position two and set fractions of :28.1 and :57.4 while Hemi Seelster mounted his attack first over through three-quarters in 1:26.4.

Hemi Seelster eventually yielded while pocket sitter Take My Picture, a venerable 9-year-old gelding, readied for the challenge and catapulted to the lead in deep stretch with Royal Becca J gaining late for the place spot. Spunky Jack held on for third.

Trained by Nik Drennan, Take My Picture (Classic Photo) boosted his lifetime bankroll closer to $1.1 million.

Ross Wolfenden had a driving double.
