Analysis:

Race 8: (4) Best Man Hanover returns fromHoosier where he’s had tough posts/trips in all recent starts. Veteran had beensharpening before those efforts and will likely be set for a top try againstthis group. (8) Montero Blue Chip charged home for place against Open companyin latest. The 6-year-old continues to race in sharp form and will likely leavefor a trip here.

Race 9: (2) Shez So Sassy never got involved last time beforemaking a break past three-quarters, two back chased a 1:55.3 mile inSpringfield stakes race and finished evenly and three back was a good secondplace finish against tougher here in a raced that was trotted very fast. Finds a good spot andfigures to be well placed. (1) It’saswan has had outide posts in most recent andraced decently, gets the rail and looks like a major player. (8) StirlingEmissary chased runaway wakeup winner last time following a powerful wide sweepto roll by lesser two back. Looks as sharp as any in here and cannot bedismissed.

Race 10: (8) Gotta Go Andy returns off two daysrest and an improved speed try from similar spot. (10) Major Ed made two movesand was wiped out while in contention after pacing a :27.3 third quarter inunlucky mile. The 4-year-old draws tough post but has paced some fast miles thisyear and has speed to overcome it.

Race 11: (6) Jerrico takes a key drop off tough uncovered trip andcan perk up at this level. (2) Kansas Wildcat had tough spot and was knockedoff stride nearing the half, moves inside, gets huge driver switch to thereturning “Double Oo” and holds a class edge on these.

Good Luck!
