Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 9-12, Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016

Saturday night my single and Best Bet won and paid $6.00, and I had another top winner in the sequence but as often happens, I missed one and had three out of four, minus $18.

Standard Ticket: 50 cent play: 489/68/9/125 = $9
Whale Ticket: 50 cent play: none

Analysis:

Race 9: I’m going to use three in this solid Open, (4) Shooter’s Dream, (8) Kingofthejungle, and (9) Doctor Butch.

Race 10: (8) Justified has been facing tougher at Yonkers and is my top pick at 15-1 on the morning line. I also used (6) Our Dragon King, who gets a better spot this week. This is a tough race, though.

Race 11: (9) Forty Five Red ships in off a good effort at Yonkers and picks up Campbell. I made this horse my Best Bet and a single here.

Race 12: (5) Garnet River A is another Yonkers shipper on tonight’s card and he took his career mark over this track. (1) Bugger Bruiser is in good form and the one to beat here. I also used (2) Here Comes Swifty who needed last.
