Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 11-14, Saturday, May 2, 2015

Last night I tried two tickets for a total of $12 and didn’t hit. Tonight there are two late Pick-4s. I’m going to try the one that looks tougher to hit. Last Saturday night I played a $24 ticket but after a scratch it came down to $12 and I hit it for 50 cents. The Pick-4 paid $216.30 for 50 cents. That ended the winter meet.

Winter meet totals: standard ticket, 30 plays, -$153.70; whale ticket, 10 plays, -$422
Championship meet totals: standard ticket, 1 play, -$4; whale ticket, 1 play, – $8

Standard ticket: 50 cent play: none
Whale ticket: 50 cent play: 267/567/12578/710 = $45

Analysis:

Race 11: This is a tough sequence so I used a 50 cent whale ticket for $45. I’m using three here, 2, 6, 7.

Race 12: There are four solid contenders here but I narrowed it down to three, (5) Speed Again, (6) Ellis Park and (7) Blatantly Best.

Race 13: This race is very difficult. I used five horses, 1, 2, 5, 7, 8.

Race 14: (10) Regal Babe figures to improve off last when he had a tough spot against faster and they add Lasix tonight. (7) Cobalt Man had a difficult trip from post 10 in last.
