Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Friday, July 4, 2014

Saturday night I went with an $8 ticket since the sequence looked tough. I’ve hit the Pick-4 three times this meet. Championship meet totals: Standard ticket, 13 plays, -$12.40. Whale ticket: seven plays, +$238.75.

Standard ticket: $1 play: 5/3/10/47 = $2
Whale ticket: 50 cent play: none

Analysis:

Race 7: Tough race to start the sequence. I think (5) Western Empress rallies off a fast pace here so I’ll try a single. I’m going to play a small ticket.

Race 8: (3) My Leap Of Faith ships in off a sharp effort and is another single, but this is a tough race.

Race 9: (10) Beau Joe will probably be too short a price from post 10 but I’ll single him.

Race 10: (7) UF Dragon’s Queen should be tough here. She’s beaten better over the track this year. (4) Miss Machqueen also finds a softer spot.
