June 7, 2014,by Bob Pandolfo
Bob Pandolfo offers his picks for the $50,000 Pick-4 at Meadowlands Racetrack on June 7, part of the U.S. Trotting Association Strategic Wagering Program. Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Saturday, June 7, 2014 Last night I spent $40 and had three of four. My single came in a fast closing second. I’ve hit the Pick-4 three times this meet and I now have a profit. Championship meet totals: Standard ticket, 10 plays, +$65.60. Whale ticket: six plays, +$286.75. For the winter meet, I had one hit for $1,144.50 on the whale ticket and no winners on the standard tickets. Winter meet totals: 44 plays, 0 hits, -$1,236.00. Whale ticket: 17 plays, one hit, -$2,938.50. Standard ticket: 50 cent play: 3710/56/2378/5 = $12 Analysis: Race 7: I’m going to try three in this wide open race. (3) David’s Dream, (7) Cobalt Man, and (10) Ontario Success. There are a lot of ways you can go, I went for prices. Race 8: (5) Bettor Design had post seven at Yonkers in last. I’m also using (6) High Octane N, another Yonkers shipper that had post seven. Race 9: I’m going to use all four of my contenders. It’s a weak field, which makes it wide open. Race 10: (5) Bullville Kyle is 15-1 on the morning line but shows improving form and is a single for me.
Whale ticket: 50 cent play: none tonight
