Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Saturday, May 17, 2014 I hit the Pick 4 on Saturday night and again last night. Last night, for 50 cents it paid $176.65. I had it once on the Whale ticket, which was $48.00. Championship Meet totals: Standard Ticket 5 plays – $28.10. Whale ticket: 4 plays +108.55. For the winter meet, I had one hit for $1144.50 on the Whale Ticket and no winners on the Standard tickets. Winter Meet totals: 44 plays, 0 hits – $1236.00. Whale Ticket: 17 plays, 1 hit, – $2938.50 Standard ticket: $0.50 cent play: 17/123456/45/3479 = $48.00 Analysis: Race 7: Sebastian K S (1) was a beast in U.S. debut last week, but I’m also going to use Arch Madness (7). Race 8: This race is an excellent race, but tough to handicap. I’m going to use 6 horses. Race 9: This is a pretty wide open race, but I have to draw the line somewhere, so I’ll use two here, Pembroke Dewey (4) and Stallone Blue Chip (5). Race 10: Good race. I’m using all four of my listed contenders, 3, 4, 7 and 9.
