Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Friday, May 16, 2014 I hit the Pick-4 last Saturday night. For 50 cents it paid $139.90. I had it once on the standard ticket, which was $36, and once on the whale ticket, which was $48. Championship meet totals: four plays, one hit, -$12.10. Whale ticket: three plays, one hit, -$20.10. For the winter meet, I had one hit for $1,144.50 on the whale ticket and no winners on the standard tickets. Winter meet totals: 44 plays, 0 hits, -$1,236.00. Whale ticket: 17 plays, one hit, -$2,938.50. Standard ticket: 50 cent play: 1234/6/47/4568 = $16 Analysis: Race 7: It seems hittable tonight. This is a wide open race, so I’m using all four of my listed contenders, 1, 2, 3, 4. Race 8: (6) Fico is my Best Bet and a single on my standard ticket. He turned in some good efforts against better last year. Race 9: (4) Hot List had a tough parked-out trip without cover and only lost by two lengths last week. (7) Drop The Ball is the class of the field and will be a short price. Race 10: Wide open race. I used 4, 5, 6 and 8.
