Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013
Last night I played a $72 ticket and only had one of the winners. Meet total: 3 plays, -$108.$1 play: 467/58/238/7 = $18
Analysis:
Race 7: (7) Hypnotic Blue Chip overcame post 10 gamely last week and has the class to handle the upgrade. (6) Dial Or Nodial is rounding to form and tough to leave out. (4) Alexie Mattosie is sharp and was used hard leaving in last.
Race 8: (5) Mindset was an easy winner in last. The step up in class is marginal. (8) K-Lees Shakenbake had strong pace on both ends to beat weaker and is an improving 3-year-old.
Race 9: The three I’m using, (2) Road Untraveled, (3) Forest Vic A, and (8) Voice Of Truth all have a touch of class. I think they get me through this leg.
Race 10: (7) Abbeylara didn’t have a great trip from post 10 last week but was moving well at the wire. I made this 4-year-old my Best Bet so I’ll single here.
