Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Friday, July 26, 2013

Last week’s results: I’ve hit the Pick-4 three times this meet playing almost all small tickets. My $16 ticket returned $96.80. Earlier in the meet my $18 ticket returned $163.60 and I also hit it for $206.60 on a $16 ticket. Last Friday I played an $8 ticket using three singles and two of my singles won but I missed. Saturday I played a $6 ticket and wasn’t close.

Analysis:

Race 7: (7) Beatgoeson Hanover has the class and (8) From Above is in sharp form.

Race 8: (7) Stand By Cam had late pace in last and now gets Gingras. (8) Doubletrouble was beaten at 6-5 in last and has a shot to make amends.

Race 9: (5) Rockingcam Park won first two starts sharply, then broke from post 10; better spot tonight. (3) Ideal Helen adds lasix and has shown some ability.

Race 10: This is a tough C-2 trot. I’m going to use three, the 1-2-3. My top pick, (3) Caitir, only has two wins in 40 career starts but she showed improvement in the Flower Child series recently and she may have needed last after missing some time.
