Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Friday, March 22, 2013

Last week’s results: No luck last week. My key horses did well, two singles won and another horse I liked won and paid $9.20 but the big longshots knocked me out. Small tickets on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday were down $94 total. I played one big ticket of $320 on Thursday and only had three out of four, missed the bomb in the 10th race.

This week the Meadowlands is going to a two day week, Friday and Saturday.

$2 small play: 346/345/79/157= $54
$1 large play: none tonight

Analysis:

Race 7: Only seven mares go here but it’s still a competitive race. (3) Southwind Jazmin made my sharp list last week, (6) Monochromatic has been very sharp at Dover and has won twice over this track, and (4) Unred Hanover is hard to eliminate after finishing second to the classy Rocklamation.

Race 8: (3) Hoboken Sonny, (4) Westside Lindy, and (5) The Chancellor all drop from B-2 to C-1 in this trot and I’ll use all three.

Race 9: (9) Sangaal made a strong recovery from a break last week and now drops. She gets post nine but she should be tough to beat here. I’m also using (7) Gordyyy’s Pet who has been racing in good form.

Race 10: Pretty tough race here, although if (7) Spectator K trots he’ll be tough off the drop. But in case he breaks I also used (1) Buzz Bomb and (5) Celebrity Lovin.
