On Tuesday (Nov. 27), Northfield Park will be offering a $10,000 guaranteed pool in the Pick-4. The Pick-4 has a reduced takeout rate of just 14 percent (the lowest in harness racing) and starts in the eighth race.

Analysis:
Race 8: (1) Hoosier Lion draws well, has good gate speed, retains Merriman in the bike; all reasons to like this one. (2) Deetox could do well in his return to Cleveland. (6) JD’s Turismo has as good of a shot as any to make the ticket.
Race 9: (3) Rap’s Legacy could do well in here if he minds his manners. (6) Mr Big Boy faces softer company and could come out with a score. (9) Mr Sam looks to get a good trip from the second tier.
Race 10: (1) Our Little Filly drops in class, draws the rail and could be victorious against these. (5) Stars Smokin Gun looks to do well in her Cleveland debut. (9) Bee Mischievous should get a good trip and looks to do well if she stays pacing.
Race 11: (1) Long Stem Rose draws the inside advantage and that advantage may be key to doing well tonight. (9) Grandpa’s Jojobeni drops back down to the level of his last win; looks to do well again.
