Chapter Seven regains lead in Poll

Freehold, NJ — Older trotter Chapter Seven used a 1:50.2 win in the Allerage Farms Trot to regain the No. 1 ranking in the Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll. Chapter Seven previously held the top spot the week of Sept. 4 before dropping to second behind Check Me Out.
Check Me Out, who finished second to Win Missy B in her opening heat of the Kentucky Filly Futurity and was scratched from the second heat, fell to No. 2 in this week’s poll.
Market Share, who won a late closer in 1:50.3 at The Red Mile on Saturday, moved from fourth to third in the rankings. Also winning was Captaintreacherous, who joined Chapter Seven, Check Me Out, Market Share and Michael’s Power in receiving first-place votes.
There were no newcomers to the Top 10.
