Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 6-9, Friday, August 17, 2012

Two of my horses were scratched last time and I lost $24. I’ve hit five Pick-4s so far this meet, the highest paying $238 for $1.

$1 play: 26/511/16/368 = $24.00

Analysis:

Race 6: Good card to end the meet tonight and the races in the Pick-4 sequence are very good and competitive. I’ll try a longshot here, (6) Emeritus Maximus, an improving son of Rocknroll Hanover. I’ll also use the promising (2) Rockin Amadeus.

Race 7: (5) Put On A Show and (11) Drop The Ball are my two here in this very good Golden Girls Free For All.

Race 8: (1) Real Special drops and should improve and I also used (6) Mccedes, a millionaire who has a chance at a price.

Race 9: Tough race. I’m using three, (3) Evening Job who was Brennan’s choice of the field, (6) Prince Sharka, a sharp 3-year-old facing older, and (8) Woodstock Hanover, dropping to best level.
