On Tuesday (July 3), Northfield Park will be offering a $15,000 guaranteed pool in the Pick-4. The Pick-4 has a reduced takeout rate of just 14 percent (the lowest in harness racing) and starts in the eighth race.

Analysis:

Race 8: (2) Lefty Grove is one of several who could do well in here. (4) Howling Hannah returns from Scioto Downs and looks to be a winner here in Cleveland. (9) Ritas Lady showed improvement in her last race and should not be counted out here with continued improvement.

Race 9: (3) CG’s Serious makes the trip from Chicago and does not want to return empty handed. (5) Always D Lady was a winner in her only race; Brian Brown may have yet another good youngster. (8) Norma Jean will have a tall order from post eight; Hamlet always has fast young stock.

Race 10: (1) Allcanadian Rebel draws the inside advantage and that advantage could be key to doing well tonight. (2) Sea Slicker has been receiving brutal trips; could have a successful outcome with a better trip. (6) Impressive Legacy was an impressive winner last time out; steps up in class but looks to do well again.

Race 11: (1) Attackatooforu has been drawing poorly and looks to make the most of this inside post draw. (2) Precious Lass showed little in her last effort but could do well here if she can rebound from that poor performance.
