Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 6-9, Saturday, April 14, 2012

I didn’t hit last night, minus $12.00, which brings the total to minus $639.00 for the first 38 nights; I haven’t hit one so far this meet. Tonight’s sequence looks difficult.

$1 play: 35/146/9/17= $12.00

Analysis:

6th Race: (5) SOUTHWESTERN DREAM ships in from Dover, takes a key drop out of the Open and likes this track. (3) ALEXIE MATTOSIE ships in from Canada and went a big 1:48.1 mile over this track last year.

7th Race: Wide open race, I went for three horses, (1) RU READY TO ROCK, (4) FINANCE THE MASTER, and (6) THEETOWNLITTLEGUY, but I’m not confident that these three will suffice.

8th Race: (9) STORMIN RUSTLER faced a tougher field last time and had pace finishing, and he can leave if Dube chooses to. I don’t want to spend a lot of money so I’m going to take a shot and single this one.

9th Race: (7) HE’S GORGEOUS had a tough trip in last; he’s not the same horse he was but he drops again and should go well. (1) PICTURE ME also had a tough trip and drops.
