Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 6-9, Saturday, March 31, 2012

I didn’t hit last night, minus $8, which brings the total to minus $549 for the first 34 nights; I haven’t hit one so far this meet. Last night one of my singles won but I only had two of the four winners in the sequence.

$1 play: 2/48/39/125 = $12

Analysis:

Race 6: (2) Four Starz Trace is my best bet tonight, should be tough; second start off the layoff with a sharp drop. The race looks like a two horse race between this one and (8) He’s Gorgeous but I’m using the 2 as a single and trying what looks like the better price.

Race 7: (4) Excel Nine raced gamely first over last week and just missed and (8) Adams Hanover steps up off an easy win. I’ll try these two but this is a wide open race.

Race 8: (3) Intrigued Royally drops out of the Four Leaf Clover Final. (9) Picture Me was parked the mile without cover and only lost by 2-1/2 lengths against tougher.

Race 9: Wide open race. I’m using (1) Buckeye In Charge who drops off a race where he finished gamely and figures to improve; (2) Mccedes, scratched sick but has too much class to ignore at this level; and (5) A J Corbelli, another dangerous drop down horse.
