Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 6-9, Friday, March 16, 2012

I didn’t hit Saturday, minus $8, which brings the total to minus $491 for the first 29 nights; I haven’t hit one so far this meet. Tonight’s sequence doesn’t actually look that tough but it usually is. I had a good night on my picks Saturday night, picked a $31 top winner in the second race. Tonight I’m playing two small tickets.

$1 play: 28/3/269/25 = $12
$1 play: 2/3/269/25 = $6

Analysis:

Race 6: On paper this is a two horse race between (2) VC Chocoholic and (8) In Focus.

Race 7: (3) Love You Always finished sharply behind classy Cuz She Can last week but draws inside of her this time so I’m going to single here.

Race 8: (2) Manningly is the obvious choice off the drop but I’m also using the sharp Burke shipper (6) Zuerest and the drop down (9) Shining Ember, who hails from a top trotting barn.

Race 9: The two sharpest are (2) Cotton Candy and (5) Southwest.
