Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 6-9, Friday, Feb. 11, 2012

I didn’t hit last night, minus $36.00, which brings the total to minus $291.00 for the first 16 nights. Tonight’s sequence looks tough again, the cards have been very competitive this week. I’m going two deep in each leg.

$1 play: 17/57/27/16= $36.00.

6th Race: BETTER DESIGN won for me in the Pick 4 sequence last week as my $12.60 Best Bet and had the rail in a similar field. I’ll also use TY’S A BIGT STAR coming off a sharp qualifier for a 24% barn in this wide open NW16000 optional $50k claimer.

7th Race: MEGA HALL drops after showing some pace in a quick mile and BESTNOTLIE HANOVER drops after showing improved early speed.

8th Race: MASTERCHARGEIT showed front end speed at Balmoral and during the winter that track favors closers. A MAJOR HAZE comes off a solid first over effort.

9th Race: HEART OF ROCKNROLL was used getting position from post 8 and held gamely in a fast race. BLUE CLAW also left well and had late pace last week.
