Keith Gisser offers his picks for the $10,000 Pick-4 at Northfield Park on June 20, part of the USTA Strategic Wagering program. Northfield Park Pick-4, Races 8-11, Monday, June 20, 2011 Wednesday, we gave you two $24 plays, one with a saver on our best bet, and hit with both, cashing for $95 and change on a $48 investment. Could easily have hit this spending less money, but my strategy is to make sure to hit, even if the ROI is lower. $1 play: 3/125/1249/459 = $36 Analysis: Race 8: You know I am President of the (3) Cruise On Osborne fan club, but there lots of good ones here, so I played a saver. But #3 rarely puts in a bad effort. Race 9: Wide open, but (1) On The Shady Side, (2) Class Worker and (5) Zakman all show good recent wins. Race 10: I could probably justify singling (1) Crusinfullthrottle even though Aaron chose off to drive (4) The Long Goodbye. (2) Epes looks for his 115th career on the board result and (9) Winter Cruise should get a great trip. Race 11: A lot of question marks in this group. Love the driver change on (9) Dm Fatboy Slim to Noble; (5) Gold Fever tripped out to beat these last time and (4) Lrs Mamas Boy races for the hottest barn at the track.
