Columbus, OH — A new feature has been added to harness racing’s most-visited Web page, racing.ustrotting.com: Fans can now see current lists of the leading drivers and trainers at all U.S. pari-mutuel racetracks, and see post position statistics at those same tracks.

The page features a new “tab,” located adjacent to tabs for “Week at a Glance,” “Search” and “Advanced Search,” named “Track Statistics.” A click on the new tab will give visitors the option to select a currently operating track from a dropdown list, and the option of seeing lists of leading drivers, trainers or post position statistics.

The driver and trainer statistics, which will be compiled for the entire current year and remain posted until eight days following the close of the track selected, will show:

• Win percentage;
• Number of starts;
• Number of wins, seconds, and thirds:
• Universal driver rating; and
• Total purses won.

These statistics are compiled from purse races, only, and include races that are contested as non-wagering events. The post position statistics will give the number of starts, wins, and in the money finishes, also for the current year-to-date.

There is no charge for these statistics, and are posted in addition to year-to-date, all-track totals for drivers and trainers that have long appeared under “Top Performers” on the U.S. Trotting Association website.
