Kentucky Filly Futurity draws 21

Columbus, OH — The $378,000 Kentucky Filly Futurity has drawn a field of 21 sophomore distaffers that will go behind the gate in three first heat eliminations on Friday (Oct. 2) at The Red Mile.

The top three in each $65,520 elimination, plus the fourth place finisher with the highest earnings in 2009, will advance to the $105,840 second heat. A filly must win twice to capture the Kentucky Filly Futurity. A race-off, if necessary, will carry a purse of $75,600.
