Harrington, DE — Mark Waterman’s T P Lucy ($3.80, Tony Morgan) equaled the track record for 3-year-old trotting fillies on Sunday (June 21) at Harrington Raceway in a $20,000 division of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) stakes with a 1:58.1 win.

The Linbo-sired filly improved to six-for-seven lifetime as she surged by leader JA’s Commando at the top of the stretch for an impressive score. T P Lucy was the fastest divisional winner of the night.

Nanticoke Racing and Mark King’s Bristy Crinkley ($2.40, Les Givens) overcame an early break to prevail in her division in 2:02, while Joann Looney-King’s Stashi ($16.80, Jim King, Jr.) was an upset wire-to-wire winner in her division.

Meanwhile, on the colts’ side, Thomas Lail’s Special Command ($19, Morgan) and Vicki Givens and Doris Marine’s Spent Force ($3, Ross Wolfenden) were victorious.

The DSBF finals will be contested on Governor’s Day during the Delaware State Fair on July 30.
