Railee Possible coasts to an unchallenged victory in Monday’s $14,000 Open Handicap Trot in 1:54.3.

Driven from post six by Dan Clements, Railee Possible outfought a stubborn Guy Gets Girl (Bruce Ranger) to assume his perfunctory spot at the front-end of the Monday feature, trotting comfortably on the lead through fractions of :27.3, :57 and 1:26.1.

The son of Anythings Possible entered the stretch with a three length advantage, and the result was never in peril down the lane, as the gelding pulled clear of his rivals while drifting out slightly, crossing the wire five lengths the best.

Railee Possible returned $3.80, $3.00 and $2.10 for the victory. Guy Gets Girl brought in $3.60 and $2.20 for second, while Battleshoe Victor (Wally Hennessey) paid $2.10 for third.

Owned by Frank and Inge Smith, and trained by Veral Bowman, Railee Possible has prevailed in 12 of 26 starts this year, while amassing $99,780 in seasonal earnings. The gelding’s lifetime bankroll is now in excess of $218,000.

The triumph by Railee Possible was the second of four victories on the evening for Clements, who also prevailed in the evening’s second race with Mattern Miracle ($14.00) and the fourth race with Table Wine ($5.20), before completing the grand slam with Pathway Dot Com ($3.60) in race nine.
