Jereme’s Jet paced the third fastest mile in harness racing history when he time-trialed in 1:47.

John Campbell was in the bike for trainer Tom Harmer as the 4-year-old Western Hanover-Ohyouprettything stallion cut out quarters of :27.2, :53.3 and 1:20.1 before coming home in a snappy :26.4 to trip the timer in 1:47.

Jereme’s Jet’s winning effort was a world record for a 4-year-old pacing stallion on a mile track. That clocking trailed only Cambest’s 1:46.1 time-trial at Springfield in 1993 and Holborn Hanover’s race record of 1:46.4 set last year at The Meadowlands.

Jereme’s Jet has banked $1,417,246 in his career and was a Dan Patch Award winner as the top 2-year-old pacing colt in 2005.
