Marlborough, MA — Trainer Heidi Rohr was in the Plainridge Racecourse spotlight on Monday, September 24, posting four wins with horses under her care, including three legs of the Impossible Dream Series, and a leg of the Patriot Series.

New England’s leading driver, Jason Bartlett, drove three of Rohr’s horses to the winner’s circle, while Winston Drew Campbell reigned the other as these residents of the Pinetree State produced a ‘grand slam.’

Bartlett started things off by scoring in the third race with Joe Rustler in 1:54.4, and followed with wins in the fourth race with Tropic Cavalier (1:56.2) and Captain American in the fifth (1:54.2). Campbell closed out Rohr’s memorable day by scoring with Fame And Fortune (1:56) in the $5,000 seventh race Impossible Dream Series.

Bartlett, who sports one of the country’s best UDR ratings, had a fourth win on the Monday card in the Plainridge opener with the Joesph DiStefano-trained Ironstone Fantasy in 1:55.1.

Greg Bowden, a two-time Plainridge driving champion, enjoyed another good afternoon at the Route 1 Massachusetts oval. Bowden had wins with No Muffler (1:57) in the eighth race and Domenic Longobardi’s Brooklets TNT (1:57.4) in the nightcap.

More than $80,000 in purses will be contested on Tuesday, September 25, in four races of the Massachusetts Sires Stakes Finals for 3-year-old fillies and 3-year-old colts and geldings.

Post time for Plainridge’s regular card is 1:00 p.m.
