Mom’s Sweet Dreams favored in Belle Acton Final

Salem, NH — Mom’s Sweet Dreams, who won her division of the second leg of the Belle Acton Series last out at Rockingham Park, looks to reward her connections with the trophy and the winner’s share of the $20,000 purse in Sunday’s (July 1) final.

Partnered with leading driver David Ingraham and trained by Kelly Case, Mom’s Sweet Dreams has been made the 5-2 morning line favorite in the highly competitive field of nine 3-year-old pacing fillies. The Belle Acton final has been carded as the eighth of 10 races at the track and post time is 1:05 p.m.

While Mom’s Sweet Dreams, a daughter of Dream Away, is the early favorite, 7-2 choice Goddard’s Art and 9-2 third choice Art’s Lady Diana also figure to attract significant backing at the windows. Both of those fillies have plenty of early foot and have proven that they can carry their speed for the entire one mile distance of the race.

On Wednesday, the Fourth of July, Rockingham will send one lucky fan home with an Ipod. Everyone attending the races on the Fourth, which is a Coca-Cola Family Day, may register to win the Ipod. Post time on the holiday is 1:05 p.m and there will be 10 live races.

In addition to live racing and full card thoroughbred, harness, and greyhound simulcasting, Rockingham hosts Texas Hold ‘Em poker every Wednesday through Sunday.
