Two Twentytwo scratched sick from NA Cup

Campbellville, ON — Two Twentytwo, who drew the rail for tonight’s Pepsi North America Cup at Mohawk, has been scratched sick for the C$1.5 million event by trainer Rheal Bourgeois.

The chestnut son of 1999 Triple Crown winner Blissfull Hall was a 20-1 morning line quote off a fourth place finish to Sutter Hanover in the third and final elimination last Saturday.

Roger Mayotte was to drive the five-time winner for Dominic Colarusso, Jr. of Olean, New York.

Reserve Forces, set to leave from post nine for Andy Miller, has been scratched lame out of the North America Cup.

Trained by Carl Jamieson, he was listed as 25-1 in the Mohawk Program. He finished fourth in his elimination here last week.

Shark Gesture has been scratched out of the $250,000 Open Pacing Classic (the second race).

Danae (Luc Ouellette), post ten, has been scratched from the ninth race, the C$531,800 Elegantimage Stakes for trotting fillies.

In the $250,000 Classic Distaff (Race 11), Darlin’s Delight has also been scratched sick from post three in the field of eight.
