Salem, NH — Our First Falcon N, who outkicked some of the best pacers in North America to take third in the $120,000 New Hampshire Sweepstakes at Rockingham Park two weeks ago, will be back in action at the Salem oval on Saturday, June 16.

The 7-year-old hard-knocking gelding, who is trained and driven by Ron Cushing, turned in a big race in the NH Sweeps despite being dismissed as the longest shot in the field at 40-1. He will certainly not escape the attention of the bettors on Saturday as he has been installed as the 5-2 early favorite in the featured $11,000 pace on the 10-race afternoon card.

Also on Saturday, the track kicks off the summer promotional schedule with the first of the Budweiser Blasts. Tee shirts and other promotional items will be given away at the main bars during the races while supplies last. Post time on Saturday is 1:05 p.m. and full card thoroughbred, harness, and greyhound simulcasting, Texas Hold ‘Em poker and charitable bingo are also available.
