Pompano Beach, FL — Track record holder Wilma Hall, the current reigning queen of the mares at Pompano Park this meet, goes for her fourth straight win in the $10,000 Open Handicap Mares Pace on Friday (Nov. 24).

Teamed up with driver Brett Miller, Wilma Hall has been unstoppable in November from from both outside and inside posts, racing both on the front end and coming from behind.

It was two starts back that Wilma Hall became the fastest mare in Pompano Park history with a 1:51.3 lifetime mark for the Knockout Stable of Margate and trainer Jim McDonald. On Friday the 5-year-old daughter of Blissfull Hall starts from post seven and is the 2-1 morning line favorite.

Returning from a one month layoff is Golden Falcon N from post five for the Berry Stable of Staten Island, New York and trainer Paul Bernardo. The New Zealand-bred mare prepped for her return to Pompano Park, winning a qualifying race last week in 1:55.4.

Second choice at 3-1 in the race is Townline Lily from post six for driver Bruce Ranger. The 5-year-old mare had beaten Wilma Hall two straight weeks before Wilma Hall began her current winning streak.

Also entered are Hypnotise (post one), Chip And Gale A (post two), Asian Paradise N (post three) and Hyde Park Hussie N (post four).
