Campbellville, ON — C$1,475,900 in purses will be on the line this Saturday, August 27 at Mohawk, as Breeders Crown eliminations and preps, divisions of the Nassagaweya Stakes and the rich final of the Fan Hanover Stakes will help comprise the solid 13 race program.

Race Night on The Score will go live to air, coast to coast in Canada, on The Score Television Network with a special two hour presentation beginning at 9:00 p.m.

The C$680,100 final of the Fan Hanover Stakes for three-year-old pacing fillies has been carded as the tenth race of the evening, holding an estimated post time of 10:28 p.m.

Within the last 10 years, talented fillies such as Rainbow Blue, Worldly Beauty, Cathedra Dot Com, Eternal Camnation and She’s A Great Lady have all paced to victory in the Fan Hanover, which will be contesting its 23rd edition.

A pair of eliminations for the Breeders Crown Open Pace will also bolster the program.

An eight horse field will line up for the first of the elims, carded as the seventh race (9:25 p.m.). Holborn Hanover (post six, George Brennan), the 2004 Meadowlands Pace winner, will line up against Dr No (post three, Catello Manzi), Maltese Artist (post two, Luc Ouellette) and Armbro Balmoral (post one, Paul MacDonell), among others, in the first elim.

The seven horse second elim has been carded as the ninth race, holding an estimated post time of 10:07 p.m. Timesareachanging (post six, Ron Pierce), the 2004 Little Brown Jug winner, will line up against Boulder Creek (post three, Brian Sears), Escape The Wind (post four, Roger Mayotte) and Metropolitan (post five, David Miller) in the second elim, which will also include, among others, Ponder (post seven, Jack Moiseyev), who captured the C$831,000 Canadian Pacing Derby over the Mohawk oval in June.

Ten horses have also drawn into a C$50,000 Breeders Crown Prep Trot, the fourth race of the night, with an estimated post time of 8:22 p.m. In the Trot Prep, Housethatruthbuilt (post three, Brian Sears) will line up against such competitors as Windylane Hanover (post four, John Campbell), Hellava Hush (post two, Catello Manzi) and Mystical Sunshine (post five, Ron Pierce).

The program also offers a C$50,000 Breeders Crown Prep for pacing mares, which will house a talent-laden 10 horse field. Burning Point (post seven, Kevin Wallis), Carolina Sunshine (post two, Brian Sears), Loyal Opposition (post eight, George Brennan) and Invitro (post five, Paul MacDonell) are just four of the starters set to highlight the dash, set to go to post at 9:04 p.m.

The two C$174,950 divisions of the Nassagaweya Stakes for two-year-old pacers have been carded as races three (8:01 p.m.) and five (8:43 p.m.), respectively. Ten horses will contest each of the Nassagaweya splits.
