Mr McNally [$11.60, $5.20, $2.60] trotted gate-to-wire in 1:54 in the third race, the first of two $18,000 Hiram Woodruff Series divisions, on Sunday afternoon at the Meadowlands.

Driven by Mike Lachance, Mr McNally posted a half-length win over the fast-charging Ray Gun [$3.00, $2.20], while Lhasa Muscles [$2.20] was third.

Trained by Steve Elliott, Mr McNally is now two-for-two in the Hiram Woodruff Series. The four-year-old son of American Winner is owned by Dan Shetler of Cicero Illinois, Mitch Rosenthal of Dallas, Texas and Jo Anne Shetler of Lexington, Kentucky.

Maltese Malcom captured the 2nd Hiram Woodruff division in 1:55.3 for the husband and wife team of driver David Miller and his wife, trainer-owner Misty Miller.

Maltese Malcom [$3.60, $3.20, $2.80] charged home off a second-over trip to capture the fifth race Hiram Woodruff division in 1:55.3 for the husband and wife team of driver David Miller and his wife, trainer-owner Misty Miller. Maltese Malcom improved his 2005 record to four wins in 12 starts.

It was two and a quarter lengths back to runner-up Striking Genius [$8.20, $6.60] who was trapped in the pocket behind the tiring leader Tuna Whip. Double Eagle [$4.80] was third.

Mr McNally and Maltese Malcom will headline the $49,255 Hiram Woodruff Final next Sunday.
