Meadow Lands, PA — Runover Feeling, owned by Jack Tramonte and C. Ed Mullinax, dominated a field of six in an early morning qualifier on Friday at The Meadows.

The talented three-year-old won his first qualifier on April 12 at Spring Garden Ranch in 1:58.1, with a final quarter in :27.1. One week later, he scored in 1:57.2, this time with a final quarter of :28.1.

This morning in his third prep, Runover Feeling won in gate-to-wire fashion in 1:53.2 with Dave Palone driving. The mile was very impressive, as the son of Western Hanover set fractions of :28, :55.4 and 1:24 and tripped the timer at 1:53.2, giving him a final quarter of :29.2. At the finish Palone had the Kelly O’Donnell-trainee under tight wraps. P-Forty-Seven, also a trainee of O’Donnell, finished second for driver Mike Wilder. On Maneuvers finished third.

Runover Feeling won seven of eight starts at two, his only loss being a neck defeat to Kansas City Spur in 1:52 in a Pennsylvania Sires Stake. He also had a mark of 1:52, set at the Meadows on Adios Day in an Arden Downs Stake division.

Up next for Runover Feeling is a Pennsylvania Sires Stake at the Meadows on May 14.
