Live Out Loud extends winning streak to four

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – Live Out Loud [$6.80, $4.00, $2.80], who swept the three-week Aquarius Series, extended his winning streak to four with a half-length victory in the fifth race, a $35,500 four-year-old open pace, on Saturday night at the Meadowlands.

The gelded son of Art’s Conquest paced a lifetime best 1:49.4 for the mile.

Live Out Loud, trained and driven by Patrick Lachance, caught Skydancer Hanover [$4.80, $3.40] in the final 40 yards for his fourth win in seven starts. Last week he won the $78,250 Aquarius Series Final. He has a career bankroll of $336,314 for M&M Harness Racing of Suffern, New York and David McCaffrey of Burr Ridge, Illinois.

You Rock [$4.40] got up for third, six lengths back.

In the co-featured tenth race, the $47,500 open pace, Art’s Cam [$13.60, $7.20, $3.80] extended his winning streak to six with a length and a half victory over Canyon Wind [$8.60, $4.80] in 1:50.1. Sagebrush [$2.20] was third by a length and three-quarters.

Art’s Cam, driven by Daniel Dube and trained by Chris Oaks, has now won six of seven starts this year, working his way up from the claiming ranks to the top class at the track. He now has 12 wins, seven seconds and five thirds from 41 career starts, earning $171,295 for Susan Oakes of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; William Kenyon II of Lockport, New York and George Alter of Fairport, New York.
