EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – February 23, 2005 – Smashingpringipisa [$10.20, $3.00, $2.40] and Theresa Hall [$6.20, $2.60, $2.40] each won her respective $16,000 division of the Night Styles Series on Wednesday night at the Meadowlands.

In the first division of the opening round of the three-week Night Styles Series, Smashingpringipisa rallied for a half-length victory over 1-2 Wilma Hall.

Owned and trained by Gus Tsanakos of East Hanover, New Jersey, Smashingpringipisa was driven to her third win in five starts this year by David Miller. She paced the second-race mile in 1:53.2.

In the second division, the third race, Theresa Hall, driven by John Campbell, held off Follow Your Bliss [$2.240, $2.20] for a half-length victory in a lifetime best of 1:52.1. Artoonist [$3.40] was third by two lengths.

Theresa Hall picked up her second win in five starts this year. Trained by George Anthony, she is owned by Joel Tobia of Saddle Brook, New Jersey.

The Night Styles Series continues next week, leading to a $60,000 final on March 9.
