Reddam Purchases Kentucky Derby Prospect

The Thoroughbred Times is reporting that J. Paul Reddam, who also owns several dozen Standardbreds, amd is the former owner of Cleveland Classic winner Marchand, has purchased Indiana-bred stakes winner Snack, a possible Derby contender.

Snack has won three straight stakes races, including the Indiana Futurity at Hoosier Park. The three-year-old has won four of eight starts, never finished worse than third and has earned $97,400. Reddam also owns Derby contender and Breeders Cup winner Wilko and Kentucky Oaks prospect Sharp Lisa. Snack will be trained by Doug O’Neill.
