Try Kacy N looks to repeat at Rockingham

by Lynne Snierson, publicity director, Rockingham Park

Salem, NH — Try Kacy N, who established a world record for a 13-year-old pacer when he stopped the timer in 1:514 one week ago at Rockingham Park, will shoot for his seventh consecutive victory when he takes on five rivals in the first race on Saturday.

Owned by Arthur Brewer II and trained by Brewer Adams, the gelded son of Silk Legacy and the Smooth Hanover mare Good Try will be partnered with regular driver Bruce Ranger. Try Kacy N has been made the 8-5 morning line favorite.

On Friday, Ranger won another three races to keep alive his winning streak, and his seasonal total now stands at 193 victories with six days of live racing left in the meet.

Also on Saturday, the track will present its final Budweiser Blast of the live meet. Free T-shirts and other promotional items will be available to racing fans 21 and older at the main bar in the Grandstand as long as supplies last.

On Sunday, the track will honor driver David Ingraham with a can coozie giveaway created in his colors.

Post time for every live racing day is 1:05 p.m.
