House Flight and Jim Morand were victorious in Tuesday’s Filly and Mare Open.

Driven by Jim Morand, the five-year-old Artsplace mare took no prisoners, parking out 6-5 favorite Roses Best to a hot quarter mile in :264. House Flight then coasted the rest of the way, winning by two lengths over Felicity and Cams Little Imp N.

It was House Flight’s fourth win in her last six starts for trainer Joshua Green.

In the sub-featured $10,200 conditioned event for fillies and mares, Rodney Mitchell’s Kayla Marie N (Kenny Mitchell) chalked up her tenth win of the year with a 1:55 score.
