Davis trains pair of winners at Harrington

Harrington, DE — Paul Davis, Jr. broke a tie in the trainer standings with two wins on the Tuesday program at Harrington Raceway.

Davis entered the night with 24 wins, tied with Josh Green atop the standings for leading conditioner. He broke the tie with wins by Oliver Twist N and OK Fella N, both driven by Steve Warrington.

Green won the 13th race with Peyton Place (Jim Morand) to pull within one of Davis.

In the featured $15,000 Filly and Mare Open, Cams Little Imp N set all the fractions in her 1:54 score for her third win of the meet. Owned by Lester Walls and Jack Upchurch, Cams Little Imp N was driven by Harrington’s leading driver, Brad Hanners. Mapua Magic N (Ross Wolfenden) was second, with Crossfire N (Mike Cole) third.

Racing continues Wednesday with a 5:30 p.m. post time.
