Dover, DE — Revival Hall puts a two race win streak on the line in a $13,500 four and five-year-old pace while Sunburnt Fella A seeks similar success in one of a pair of $20,000 claiming paces on Saturday, March 27 at Dover Downs. First post is 5:30 p.m.

Ross Wolfenden will drive Ed Turnbaugh’s Revival Hall from post two in a field of nine in one of the co-feature events for young pacers. Several of his rivals have been sharp in recent starts, 819 Stables’ Justin Hall, with Hal Belote, who leaves from the rail, and Capri’s Son, owned by Art Stafford and Len Goldberg, driven by Art Stafford, Jr., who has two wins in his last four starts. Roger Plante will drive Ray and Mary Banks’ Artsenkraf Hanover, who was a close second last time while Gemini Racing’s Yare, with George Dennis driving, and Margaret and Ed Jewell’s Skedaddle Hanover and Eddie Davis, Jr. should be tough.

The $10,800 Delaware Pace is up for grabs. Alan Revell’s diminutive Autotrack (Hal Belote) has won two of his last three while Fred Hertrich’s Allamerican Coach (Billy Mann), who won two races back, have the best recent records among the eight starting in the secondary feature.

Betty Brittingham’s Sunburnt Fella A (Bret Brittingham), a winner of his last two starts and five of his last six races, and MJ Racing, Tina and driver George Dennis’ Hammerhead Jack, a winner last time and in the money in all but one of his last six starts, seek to continue their winning ways in the first of two $20,000 Delaware claiming paces.

Owner-trainer-driver Toby Lynch’s Mattsahonker has been knocking lately as have Woody Long and trainer Bobby Glassmeyer’s American Sam (Kevin Sizer) and Nate Simple and trainer Dave Moffett’s Hawaiian Buddy (Vic Kirby).

Half of the starters in the other $20,000 Delaware claimer are Down Under imports. Cantwell Bridge Stable’s All Systems Go NZ (Brad Hanners) and Jonas White’s Sokys Raider N (Travis Bowman) are New Zealand breds and start from posts one and two respectively. Alton Lynch, Sr.’s Vasgo Da Gama A (George Dennis) and Arty Foster’s John Walters A (Mike Cole) arrived from Australia.

In a $9,500 Fillies and Mares Pace, Rebecca Pitre and driver Steve Warrington’s Costly Legs looks for a fifth consecutive victory. The Delaware-bred sophmore meets Elmer Fannin’s Yankee Checkers (Eddie Davis, Jr.) and John Hurtgen’s Lady Lawrence (Brad Hanners), both winners last time out.

Saturday and Sunday post time at Dover is 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday racing begins at 4:30 p.m. Friday is a dark day at the track. There is no charge for admission or parking. Reservations are suggested for the Winner’s Circle Restaurant and the four-star Dover Downs Hotel. Call (302) 674-4600.
